I got a new keyboard! I got the Ducky x ShibaSays One 2
because well… it’s super cute! Here it is in it’s full glory!
The problem
Unfortunately I ran into a bit of an issue. I wanted to configure the colors and had a bit of trouble with it. It took a while to find out how to configure the colors since it didn’t come with a proper manual. Eventually I figured out that the Ducky 2 One has a system where you can select the colors by using RGB. This sets both the brightness and the colors. The brightness is not set separately, which is what I originally assumed.
How does it work
The system let’s you select the color by pressing the Fn
+ F5
,F6
or F7
keys to set the Red
, Green
and Blue
intensity of the LEDs. With a little fiddling it was relatively easy to roughly get the color I wanted. But I wondered if this was the closest I was going to get to the elusively perfect pink I had in mind. So, I made a little tool to get to the color I wanted.
The tool
The tool can either be used by selecting a color using the color picker or it can emulate the experience of the keyboard with buttons.

Now i get to have the perfect pink! 💗
